2026 Annual Legislative & Regulatory Update:
What's Next For Retirement Plans in 2026
Wednesday, February 25, 2026 | 4:30 pm - 8:30 pm | Timber Creek Ballroom in Roseville
Topic Overview
This session provides a timely update on the regulatory and legislative developments shaping the retirement plan landscape in 2026. We’ll cover key activity out of Congress, the DOL, IRS, and SEC—including SECURE 2.0 implementation issues (yes, still!), evolving fiduciary and enforcement priorities from EBSA, and emerging policy proposals including those that are evolving from Executive Orders. We will also briefly address the increased activity from the DOL with the courts - filing several recent amicus briefs. Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of what’s changing, what’s new, and what plan sponsors and service providers should be watching closely in the months ahead.
